“Take young researchers, put them together in virtual seclusion, give them an unprecedented degree of freedom and turn up the pressure by fostering competitiveness.”
Research
Work by Olin Levi Warner (1896), depicting a researcher holding the torch of knowledge. Library of Congress Thomas Jefferson Building, Washington, D.C.As have been stated in our mission, we aim to bring the experience and, hopefully, the enjoyment of practicing in a research program to the undergraduate level. We, as undergraduates, are full of enthusiasm and sincerity; and we can channel these attributes into doing something that will serve us both on immediate educational grounds and on delayed career goals.
A major component of our system relies heavily on communication. Hence this website was constructed, eventually serving as a hub publishing current research activities performed by the postgraduate members, and easing the communication between the student and his prospective research mentor.
Hopefully, through browsing between the entries, any undergraduate student ready to get into any of the research projects going on in the faculty will have no problem selecting the most appropriate research activity, according to his research interests, schedule, talents and his ultimate educational aims.
Note: Our online database is still under construction, however, the switch from paperwork to our new online database will soon be accomplished eventually.
